And here is Roundabout. She's come a long way since we rescued her from her momma last October. You can see her ear is notched where mom tried to kill her but she's healthy as can be and has recently spent a few days with Tillamook.

The latest two additions for our breeding herd. This is Amelia, she is almost six months old and an algerian chocolate. She will be due to breed soon. She is a descendent of my Madame Cholet who was my first ever momma so she is quite a special girl.
And this is Tillamook. We decided we needed to get an albino into our herd and are pleased to welcome Tillamook. He is just under three months old now and will be a great guy for us here.

This is the little girl from Raiatea's second litter. This was a litter of five with only two remaining after two weeks.
This is the little boy of the litter. He has a pinto spot on his rear. Dad is Ambrose.

These are Manihi's first two babies. A boy and a girl, the girl is the bigger of the two; on the left. He has the darkest face of any baby I've ever had here...almost black, perfect black badger stripes. His sire is Dunsten who is one of Stepney's last babies before he passed on earlier this year.

Roundabout was the only surviving baby from a litter of seven. She was rescued from her mom and handraised after two weeks of age.Labels: Roundabout

These are pictures of my new boy from Jeanne Stanoch at We are Picky Hedgehogs in Florida. This guy is so awesome, two days after I got him (I can't really take the credit, Jeanne bred and socialized an awesome boy in this one), he won Juvenile male Grand Champion in two IHA shows at the Mile High Hedgehog show in Colorado Springs on October 15th and got honorable mention (or 3rd place) overall in the morning show. In the pictures are my son Logan (who showed him) with Ambrose and one of his Grand Champion ribbons, Ambrose sacked out waiting for the championship round and Ambrose posing for the camera!

Stepney is a popular stud here at Mountain High Common. He tends to pass on those badger stripes to most of his children.
